Nice setup! Let me know how you like the 55-200mm. I have my eye on that one. And the SB-600, too. :-)

The best book I've read to get oriented to the world of DSLR photography is "The Digital Photography Book" by Scott Kelby. I have the first edition, but the second edition is out now. Should be able to find it just about anywhere for under $20.

It's great, because it's very approachable. It doesn't try to teach you the theory behind every single feature of the camera. It's organized by a bunch of different types of photos (wedding, outdoor, portrait, etc.), and basically says "if you want to take this kind of picture, push these buttons on your camera." Very practical advice, and I highly recommend the book.

Looking forward to seeing pics! :-)
